Cinematic Camera Controller
Waypoint camera paths, with Timeline and Cinemachine 3.
- Version
- 1.1.1
- Released
- April 2026

1 / 7
A waypoint-based cinematic camera system with two workflows on one data model: author sequences in the Scene view ahead of time, or drop the runtime prefab in and place waypoints live.
Timeline integration, an optional Cinemachine 3 adapter and per-waypoint effects are included.
Editor authoring uses a Scene view window with 3D handles, path visualization, frustum preview and real-time scrubbing. Sequences are saved as ScriptableObject assets, with no GameObjects needed in your scene while you author.
The runtime prefab adds a WASD and mouse fly camera, in-game waypoint placement and a UI Toolkit editing interface, so designers can tweak sequences during Play Mode and save them as JSON or assets.
A custom Cinematic Waypoint Track composes shot lists in Timeline with weighted blending between overlapping clips. With Cinemachine 3.0 or newer installed, playback routes through a CinemachineCamera; otherwise it falls back to Camera.main.
What you get

Black screen fades, Perlin-noise shake, auto-banking into curves and teleport cuts, set per waypoint.
Dynamic look-at
Each waypoint can track any scene object, persisted by id across save and load.
10 formation tools

Recorder support
Optional Unity Recorder integration adds a recording panel to both interfaces.
